What does Alziynia represent?

Alziynia represents good hope and remembrance. The name is derived from the zinnia elegans species of the asteraceae family, otherwise known as the daisy family. Daisies usually symbolize not only innocence and purity, but new beginnings as well. Alziynia is simply the Arabic pronunciation of zinnia.

Alziynia hopes to be of good beginnings, of good remembrance and of pure intention. The work that Alziynia displays will often be artistic representations involving our general perception of nature. What we see and hear in nature are the greatest inspirations to our creative minds. Alziynia takes that inspiration and presents it not only in words, but in audible and visual video creations. I decided to merge my passion for poetry and video editing into one, and correlate this with the general interests I have for what resides in the natural world.

I hope that Alziynia can be an embodiment of the beauty of nature as much as it can be captured. Everywhere there are patterns in plain sight, and everywhere there exist intricate creations that are incomprehensible to our minds. Maybe Alziynia could capture that beauty and present it to the world.
